What is The League at Ripken Academy?
The League at Ripken Academy gives area teams the unique opportunity to play out a full season of mid-week games, leaving their schedules open for weekend tournaments. The League plays twice a year, with a highly competitive season in the spring and a developmentally focused season in the fall.
The League at Ripken Academy – Spring Season (March – June)
Tournament caliber teams must apply for this high quality, highly competitive spring league. The spring season begins in mid-March and continues through the second week of June, with each team playing 15 games with the possibility of up to 17. All games are played at our world class facility, the Ripken Academy, located in Aberdeen, MD.
The League at Ripken Academy – Fall Season (August – October)
Area travel and tournament teams can register to play in this developmental league each fall. The League’s fall season gives participants the opportunity to further develop as a team during mid-week games while still continuing to play in tournaments each weekend. Teams are guaranteed to play a minimum of eight games on our world-class replica fields.
